Your reading comprehension is abysmal. This was an iphone discussion, not laptop. Dummy.

This is why fruitphone users always act in hive mentality. They claim their newest iphone is sooo much better when it is almost unchanged from the prior 3 versions. They frown upon Android phones is a sad attempt to justify their overpriced fruitphone. Apple makes good products that play very well with other apple products, but they're akin to teenage girls, very clique oriented. If you aren't one of us, you are ugly and will be ridiculed.

With this much information it could be anything. Start simple. Make sure the trunk, doors, glovebox and everything is shut completely. Could be as simple as some light running the battery dead.

Get the battery fully charged and after dark, or in your garage, look for any lights on. Listen closely under the dah, in engine compartment etc. for any noises like a fan or speaker running.

If the car has lots of features, like auto trunk/hood closing, if it thinks one of those isn't closed it'll keep trying to pull it closed.
Sounds like you have a good plan and the startup cost is reasonable. If you decide to bail after a couple years your investment won't be too bad.

I like the idea of a pizza, smaller sized like Lit pizzas cook fast and are good profit.

Burger and Taco trucks are common, because that's what the markets support. The markets support them because the menu is simple, easy to understand and everyone knows what to expect. Also, they're high profit items. Consider burgers and pizzas. Both recognizable, both high profit and provides a broader, but still manageable menu offering.

Consider inexpensive upgrades to make the value more apparent: Better containers for carryout, better utensils, better napkins, better cups etc. Most food trucks seem like they're using the cheapest everything and it makes it feel like carnival vendor food. Anything to take it up a notch will make it feel better quality.

Good luck.

We have a very large family crypt in NOLA. As it became "crowded", they would collect the older remains, and re-pack them in velvet "pouches" to make room for the more recently deceased. Several generations are in there, and I figure there is room for many more. :dunno:

So I guess my question here is are they obligated to make it right? Do they legally have to disclose any damage at the time of sale?

Did you ask, in writing (email) if there is any damage other than what is listed? If they said "Nope, no damage", you might have a chance, and the fault lies with the dealer.

If you did not ask, then you are presumed to know the condition of what you are purchasing, having had the opportunity to inspect said item. In that case, you bought the truck "as is".

Dealership under no obligation, but like my granpappy used to say, "Might as well ask. Askin's free.".

There's people in the area that do this as a hobby.

I've been looking for an Osage tree for a few years to get a few branches to make another bow. Old hunting lease we had there was a fig ole horse-apple Osage along the road. I grabbed a few branches years ago but couldn't find the tree again last few times I checked.

If it is homemade, take it to the closest State Police Troop Headquarters and get it inspected. Then get a title issued

The only way this will happen is if you have receipts for all major parts of the trailer.

re: Door locks?

just install one of those cheap door chain locks until he's old enough to understand an arse-whippin'.
Well, I'm not surprised OP was successful. I am surprised it occurred so quickly.

Not to disappoint OP, but you won your battle and that's good, but I'm confident the policy at DMV will not change over this. Next week the battle would need to be fought again. A clip of the order was posted, but I presume the order did not direct the DMV to alter their practices, just your issue was addressed.

One of the grocery stores near me has a spot dedicated to Purple Heart recipients.

While I applaud spaces for PH recipients, there is no lawful reason stopping anyone from parking in military, pregnant, order-pick-up or any other, apart from handicapped. The property owner can try to enforce it, but law enforcement should not.

I am annoyed with stores, particularly walmarks, having a dozen or more premium spaces designated "order pick up". That coupled with the move to self check outs. I don't mind the self check outs, but just as WM used to have 20 registers and 2 open, now they have 20 self check outs, 3 of which for those grocery delivery services, 5 are broken and one long fingernails, 3-foot weave sassy attendant who is very focused upon her phone, slow to respond to gramma needing age verification to buy her schappes and spray paint.

Why is WAFB lying about egg prices?

Because WAFB and almost all other news organizations are contractually required to report specific information verbatim as a member of the Associated Press. They are also not allowed to provide alternative information or facts which dispute the AP article.

This is why you'll see every news outlet, all of them, parroting exactly the same words in news reports.

I though this was common knowledge...

The Real Superstore took generic to the extreme. Their "store" beer was in yellow cans labeled "BEER" in big bold letters.

That's the only thing I remember about it. Now the Greenwell Springs store is a rotting hulk, unused for probably 30 years.

re: Milk

Posted by eatpie on 4/1/25 at 2:29 pm
Fun Fact of the Day: Almost all commercially available milk is processed to skim milk, then fat (re)added to make the 2% and "whole" milk. This is why 2% and whole milk is typically more expensive.

Presumably, it is cheaper when all the milk is processed to skim first, then some fat returned and the rest used for other products.

re: Anybody Ever Eaten Fiddlehead Fern?

I've harvested and eaten them several times in New Hampshire. There were always patches where I could pick a couple gallons worth in 30 minutes. I think the wife steamed them with salt and pepper, and sometimes blanched them and we are them as a salad with some light dressing.
