This is an actual screenshot from my game of wordfued today.

I parked next to an Indian motorcycle last night. Someone needs to tell them.

Does it follow Scrabble rules? If so, Indian is a proper noun.

Acceptable words in scrabble clones != words in the English language. I just googled “wordfued ineligible words” and found tons of reddit threads of people bitching about words not being accepted, like “pickable” and “zen”

Doesn’t scrabble not allow proper nouns? Indians is a proper noun.

No, "Indian" is not always a proper noun. While it is a proper noun or proper adjective when referring to the country or Indigenous populations, it functions as an adjective or common noun in many other contexts

The fact that “Qi” is perfectly acceptable in Scrabble yet this example isn’t is why I don’t play Scrabble.

Dave is an adjective in the phrase Dave's truck.

Hope there's no conspiracy to not let us use Dave in Scrabble.

Dave is still a proper noun, a name. Just because it is one thing doesn't mean it isn't also something else.
