I've been seeing signs for a while now posted at the entry of a lot of grocery and convenience stores advising that those types of items were no longer SNAP eligible

The only remaining eligible products should be: nutritious foods such as fruits and vegetables; ground beef, pork, poultry, fish, and eggs; milk, cheese, yogurt, and infant formula; rice, beans, pasta, oats, flour, bread, and potatoes; nuts, seeds, peanut butter, basic cooking ingredients, reasonably healthy cereals and frozen meals, and seeds or plants used to grow food. that's it. plenty to survive on.

EBT should prevent hunger and promote nutrition, not subsidize your lifestyle.
