Wow, the the 90s i was going TDY transporting military prisoner between facilities at least every other month and couldn't get a govt CC, had two choices, keep a reserve of cash/personal CC or fight DFAS to try to get an advance.....most of the time I paid out of pocket and hoped they sorted out the paperwork before the next shipment and or the CC statement came due.

Bonding the ground rods would be recommended, although for just a receiving antenna a local ground will suffice. If it's for transmitting, bonding is advised.

They've got a great business model though, 100% profit, why pay for damages, upgrades, etc when you can soak the customers for it instead.

AT&T just sent me a new modem to replace the rather aged BGW210 gateway...
They don't want it back so I dissembled it looking to see if I could easily extract the firmware from onboard flash to potentially modify for re-purposing, doesn't appear to the case. Most useful bit inside might be the heatsinks and 2.4Ghz antenna (external antenna for an ESP32 project ??)
