We have.
We are hearing we need a new modem.
That doesn’t seem right.

Cox sucks; Spectrum might be worse. If you have access to fiber internet, now is the time to jump.

For some reason, I had issues off and on all day this past Saturday. Not certain if it was my TV or the internet.

People who have Spectrum say it is not only the worst ISP. it is the most non-consumer friendly corp in US. I've never had to deal with them.

If you live in BR area, get REV, as a tech it is the best I deal with.

I just got Spectrum fiber and it has been good so far. Finally got rid of shitty AT&T Uverse that refused to upgrade it's shite. Been waiting for a while to kick them to the curb.

We have not noticed any changes or problems with the services in the 70808 since the change.

I went to fiber in July. Cox/Spectrum sucks. Well it was still Cox when I switched, but they kept going up on my bill and I would call and they would lower it then gradually go back up. When I called to cancel the dude on the phone was trying to sell me hard on staying with them. The second time he tried to get me to keep their services I told him "I am not at all interested in keeping Cox. I really just want to cancel my service. There is nothing you can say that will change my mind". He kept trying and I got mad and told him "this is fricking ridiculous. I want to cancel my services. How many times do i have to tell you I am not keeping Cox".

He then asked me if I got the AT&T 2 year plan that is $175 a month.. I told him I did.. And he says "Okay will you stay at Cox for $170?" I told him the fact it took me telling him I was not going to keep cox for him to give me an offer that is slightly cheaper than what I was going with was another reason to cancel them and that if they can offer that to me now, they should have been able to do it the past few years.

I was talking to my brother about it and he has pretty much the same thing I do, but he still has a home phone and he pays just over $400. No way in hell would I pay $400 a month for Cox. I felt like I was getting the shaft when they went up from $295 to $305 or something like that. But I would seriously cancel Spectrum.

I've had Cox for about four years now. There was a period that the service was bad and this was mainly due to a lot of new cabling expansion that was being done. Since Spectrum took over I had one issue which was yesterday and it was only for a short while. Overall it has been good and I don't have any other fiber options. It is either Cox/Spectrum, TMobile or Starlink.

I spoke with my parents over the weekend (they're in BR) who are Cox/Spectrum customers and they were telling me they've had a bunch of issues since the purchase. Seemed a little strange to me as I don't know what would change so drastically in such a short time frame. They told me their Internet keeps messing up and that they also needed a new modem and I think something else as well, but I can't remember exactly what it was now. The whole thing seems a little strange to me.

Right, it should be the same infrastructure! You would think the only thing that has changed is billing…

$175?

My ATT 1gb fiber is $30/month. I would rather REV but they are not in my hood yet.
