re: What’s next for St George?

What are you trying to say here?

Rich white families that already go to private schools are not moving to DS to go to DSH. They are also not sending their kids to a new magic STG high school. They chose to be in EBR and decided they have enough money for Private. That is not going to change ever. You can build a new fancy school in a new fancy school district and the current private school kids are staying private.
I like the posters who think StG and their private school kids are the same as Livingston Parish families. I promise those families don’t want their kids going to DSH as much as they don’t want them going to EBR public schools.

Most kids that live in’s St G already go to private school. Ask any parent and I bet most voted NO because they were worrying about paying more property tax. They are not gonna swap and send their kids to some new StG public school.

Baton Rouge is just a shining beacon of competency, efficiency, and a wonderful long term plan.

Actually on the business side and homeowner side, they are pretty good. St George couldn’t even figure out how to collect occupational taxes. Took Baton Rouge’s license and photocopied a blurry St. George logo over the top. Asked for businesses to pay taxes for the year but had the due date of Dec 31st. Businesses don’t even have their books done or finished collecting payments by then. They would not answer emails or phone calls. Emails went to some accounting@ address or whatever and would just get kicked back. I had to beg for my occupational license you are supposed to display. It came four months later. After seeing that, how in the hell will they be able to run a school district. They need some time as a city first.

I’m with Army. I am fiscally conservative and I have to deal with St George for my business and live in the area. They are inept, have no plan and will just duplicate services. So I guess I am part of the 70% that voted NO.
And no Zimmer? Picks the dude that scored Black Panther….hmmm

I do the Google cameras and doorbell. Previously Nest. Work great. Way sleeker looking than the ring doorbells
The European river cruises are tiny and very nice. No Walmart people

Are you paying for the full CoPilot or just using the free chatbot that comes with your 365 subscription? You may have to get the full one that is like $20/month.
Why can’t the company tell the truth. “If y’all motherfrickers will stop stealing shite for the next month, we will reconsider. If not, frick off”.

People being nice always screws up traffic flow. And not using a blinker. People just lay on their breaks and turn while on a busy street. It baffles me that they have no issue with not letting others know their intentions.

This right here. There was not as many pieces of shite back in the day carjacking and robbing you. Hence why you can’t move into a crappy DR Horton neighborhood nowadays. You have to purchase something bigger in a better neighborhood.
Excel. Once a month I put all my account totals in it (Fidelity, bank, other IRAs, etc) and minus my loans. Let’s me see my net worth and I have a little graph. It’s like a snapshot of the 16th of the month. I don’t track individual purchases or anything.
He probably is, but who cares. They should allow putting old granny style. Or hitting it like a cue stick. As long as you use one of the 14 sticks in your bag.
Seems more involved than a bus stop ramp.
Does it have to do with the trolly that was talked about over the years? There is one every half mile or so from LSU to downtown and they are in a different location from the bus stops.

What those guys said. It is the model not the brand. Dell makes shitty Inspiron models but awesome XPS and Latitude/Pros Plus models.

Find ones meant for business.
I don’t let anyone through if we are right behind another group. What’s the point.

This is a repeat of last April. All my friends were like “oh no all my retirement is gone. What are we going to do”. Three weeks later it was higher than before it dropped. Just chill
