Its obvious Hooters has a hiring problem. They can't get young, decently attractive women to work there anymore.
I think this is a big part of their problem. They are somewhat stuck. They can't get the talent that they did in the 80s, 90s, and early 00s. If that's the case, then they need to make sure their food product is top notch.
I've never had a problem with the food. But if they move to a more family friendly atmosphere, how are they any different than Chili's, BWW, etc.
I think they need to embrace their niche market and find a way to get better talent and make sure their food is great.
Personally, if I'm getting wings, I go to Hooters. I don't consider going anywhere else.

Yeah, but:

Walt Disney personally fired Kirk,[43] but when Merlin Jones became an unexpected hit, Disney allowed him to return long enough to film a sequel, The Monkey's Uncle
Gotta get that dollar though.
That kind of shocked me. I guess Walt had morals but when it came to dollars, those morals could be bent a little.

This is a show that I can't accurately explain to people. It's so bizarre. There is no one in my circle that will watch it.
I can't wait to see it

That stretch of Jones creek isn't the hood. That is a straight up money grab. I guess it's sheriff deputies.

Lane will have the medical crew step on the field after every tackle. That way they will technically be on the field before the ball is spotted for the next play.

seems like the Void is essentially Thanos but he doesn't need infinity stones to make people disappear.
Is he killing people or is he sending them somewhere? Somewhere like "the void"?

One of hollyweird's greatest tragedies.
Bynes was gorgeous, and had great comedic timing. She had enough charisma to have a couple sitcoms and a handful of successful headlining roles.
But she was passed around like lube at a Diddy party. Poor girl was utterly ruined.
This is really true. She had the potential to be a big star. By the time she hit her 20s, she had been in the hollywood machine for a while. Who knows what she was exposed to. Poor kid.

I understand Trying to get as much money as you can. But man, you better perform in the fall or the fans will eat you alive. You can't have it both ways.

Loved going there with my mom. She would shop and I would head straight to the comic books. I would read a few then head to the lobster tank. After that, I would meet up with her and we would be on our way. I seem to remember that the cash registers said the dollar amount of the items you were purchasing. First time I ever saw that. This was probably 1985 -90.

I mean I feel like you kind of missed the point of why it was so difficult for him. The whole season had been leading up to that one moment. On one hand you had his morality which was important to him but literally the whole season you had people telling him to man up. His superior, the bodyguards, Mook especially and then the hotel owner at the end. In the heat of the moment he chose the pressure from the outside over his beliefs. He got his promotion and his braud, but he's going to have to live with what he did.
i think it was difficult for him but, just like Piper, when push comes to shove, he abandoned his beliefs completely. Killed a man when it appears that he had the skill to do otherwise.

Of all the endings I think Gaitok's was probably the best. Called him a crappy security guard (which he was) and was being a giant puss (which he was) but it was a very realistic and legitimate internal/spiritual struggle he was having. Being Buddhist and wanting peace and to not harm anyone is an honorable thing, but you picked the wrong job for that. That struggle of pulling the trigger was a great scene.
I didn't like the Gaitok ending. He shot and killed an unarmed man in the back. The unarmed man was clearly carrying an injured/dead woman in his arms. We know from an earlier episode that he was a good shot. He could have easily shot him in the legs to prevent him from leaving. In one minute, he is stating how he can do no harm to anyone due to his beliefs. At the end, he kills a man when he didn't have to. He could have injured him and detained him. But I guess this shows that no character on White Lotus is a truly good person.
