Stay away from upper floor windows when you start whining about things there

Have you walked through a major American city in the last ten years? The homeless people, the thousands of foreigners, the dirt and the trash, the crime. The general state of decay. Have you seen leap in prices, while pay has stagnated?
Things are not well. They’re not well at all.

This. Never would I have thought that country would be superior in some ways to the US. We should be doing the same.
This. I agree that Russis superior to USA in some way.USA need to be more like Russia or USA no longer super power.

I don’t think we should care if we’re a super power or not. That only matters if we’re some messianic state, hellbent on transforming the world in our image.
Let’s just be a rich, and nice place to live. Let’s build a good country for ourselves, and our children.

Have you ever been anywhere in Russia that wasn't St Petersburg or a half mile from the Moskva? It's a total shite hole. Misery, substance abuse, corruption, a total lack of infrastructure and modern amenities. Everyone lives in soviet style block housing, unless you live in a dilapidated old home somewhere in the countryside. The winter is harsh and 9 months long. The prettiest parts of the country are inhabited by violent muslims.
I don't think you know what the frick you're talking about.

You know it’s pretty bad when Russia becomes the moral leader of the world…

Had a girlfriend from Volgagrad, and one from Kazan
Russia is wonderful, the people are kind and generous, the countryside is beautiful. Cost of living was low too, and people made decent money. I was surprised by how frequently ordinary people took international vacations, it made me wonder how rich we were. It was normal for them to go abroad two times a year. And these were people from the provinces. One of my exes has a good job in Moscow though, and she's travelling abroad (not including work trips) four times a year. She’s what we would consider upper middle class
I bring up international travel because it’s expensive, and because it gives you sense of how much disposable income people have.

When Kamala gets elected we’ll all have to move to Russia rather than be sent to the democrat forced furry indoctrination camps

Homosexuality and homosexuals are sick people. Mentally sick unstable and ill. They are groomers, predators, and deviants. Normal healthy society doesn’t tolerate such.

Putin knows how to appeal to traditionalists and point to the collapse of western culture to prop himself up.
He's right, but it's largely a ruse and I don't see much evidence of this rhetoric benefitting Russia/the average Russian.
In fairness, I think this approach is probably more easily done in a smaller country with arguably less corruption and a stronger historical tilt toward Western norms, like Orban/Hungary.
