I'm libertarian and I object to the government trying to force people to accept and even glorify this stuff. If you object to it, the government says you can get sued (or even arrested for a hate crime).

The government's "tolerance" laws (which are thinly guised attempts to force acceptance of aberrant behavior) are the actions that offend me as a libertarian. The government has forced the replacement of shame with glorification.

The proper societal response to furries and the like should be that they are mentally ill nuts with a pedophilia overtone that need to be ignored. Guy wants to wear a dress? Fine, but don't force me to hire him, pretend he is a girl, etc.



The loss of our societal sense of shame is a social tragedy.

A friend had a layover in Moscow to and from Siberian oilfields in the mid 90's. He had to turn down pussy so much was thrown at him. He wasn't going to any bars or nightclubs.

As high school students, we used to drink at an edge of town bar frequented by a local biker gang. They kept their side and we kept to ours. There was a reportedly gay bar about 50 yards away. We recognized some high school and one college football coaches going or leaving. Several years later I got to know the son of the college coach. By that time he and his wife had divorced. Also, his son found out dad was gay. It was a touchy subject with him in the late 1970's. BTW, the dad was also an avid hunter and saltwater fisherman.

You just never know what someone does in privacy. It's really none of my business anyway.

Likely just as high a percentage of LBGT in Russia as in the West. They just have to keep it out of sight, for some it is obvious regardless of what they support in public.

A crash would destroy Wall Street but it would allow us to build an economy that isn’t centered on financial manipulation.
