Not chain restaurants. That attracts the opposite.
Local places is where they go. There are some restaurant group small chains that are great like Mastros, Nobu, Houston’s, etc. Which can be included.
Still to this day, mainstream America likes to know what they are getting food wise and cost wise before they walk into the restaurant. That is very hard to do at a local joint. I love trying new places and if it sucks well oh well at least I know. However, the majority of people can’t handle or come to terms with that, so they stick with what they know. It’s why McDonalds and Olive Garden are still in business. Why go to McDonalds when you can go to a local smash burger joint? Why go to Olive Garden when you can go to a local guy who grew up in Florence and cooked his whole life?
Because they know what they are getting.
