I saw BB and Etta James at the Mahalia Jackson Theater in 2004. It was a night concert during Jazz Fest. Etta was the opener and she was the better of the two on that particular night. BB sat in a chair on stage during the entire show and did a lot of talking/mumbling and played maybe 10 songs. My brother, who is an avid blues guitarist fan, t was with me and he fell asleep during BB's performance.....BB was disappointing and Etta was very good.

On July 19,1984 at L&M amphitheater. So pissed I didn’t go but I was also 9. Would have been epic! Did anyone go?!? Asking for a friend.
I was there. They opened for the Go-Go's at the amphitheater on the riverfront at the 1984 Worlds Fair. I had never heard INXS prior to that concert. It was epic and I have been a fan since that night. I also saw them at NOLA Municipal Auditorium on March 5, 1988 with Public Image Limited the opening act.

There's a Pasquale's in Laurel, Ms that opened in 1969.
I believe someone posted on here a few years ago that that one had closed
