Since being in Houston, I can always do UPS for free even if it defaults to Whole Foods

The distribution center is about two miles away from me (and 30k other people.) It still wants me to return shite to WF six miles away.

Louisiana is an embarrassing morass of ghetto culture. Can't organize for anything but crime. Instead of "teach me how to Dougie," it's like Louisiana's motto is, "teach me how to ghetto."

Anyone else confused? Why would you return Amazon items to whole foods?

Don't sweat it. Just ask jeffsmom the same question, and she will continue to handle all future Amazon returns.

WTF are you talking about? Sometimes you only have the option to drop off at Whole Foods unless you wish to pay for dropping at UPS.

Customer service says I must wait 30 days for refund due to new return policy.

Changing consumer habits. Amazon's vendors were probably filing too many complaints about people buying things, then filing a return and loading the box up with an obviously older/used item or filing the box with other crap to match the weight.

It's probably some kind of scam the people working at the location are running.

You must be.

I have had several returns where WF was the only option.

We have a UPS store near me. They scan it and provide a receipt right in front of you. Have had zero issues whatsoever.

Have also used the AMZL pickup feature, no issues there either.

I was handed a receipt.

What happened is they said it was in transit for weeks, like the other post within this thread.

I know how Amazon works. Not my first purchase.

LOOK at the dates. April to May. 3 WEEKS!

You can use the kiosk to return purchases as well. It is operational most of the time.

The biggest issue I have with this location is deliveries are not always marked as available for pick-up on the same day as they are delivered.

I tried to do a return at the Metairie WF and their process just seemed sketchy AF. The people working don't talk to you and expect you to know exactly what they want you to do. Then the attitude they have when they take the return just screams "i'm just gonna throw this in the trash when you walk away"

Much rather bring it to the UPS store.

Similar situation for me, many years of Amazon returns to UPS Store and had first return it forced me to use Whole Foods. My wife warned me, its a shite show. When I got to the WF at Town Center, the Amazon return area was chaos. No employee was instructing there was a line. When it was my turn, the employee just gave me the "what the frick you want?" look holding scanner gun. The person never said a word and I put my phone out with for them to scan. They scanned, took my $200 return, and looked at the next person. I asked them if I get receipt and only word spoken to me was "No". I was kind of dumbfounded and just went back to my truck.

While I was in my truck, I received a text notification that the return was scanned. I did get money returned.

I will never set foot in Whole Foods again.

I always use my local UPS store and never have issues. My refund is usually issued within 1-3 hours of dropping it off.
