She would be alive right now if she wasn't an online attention whore and just went to the police.
In fairness to her this was already reported and she had a new restraining order by the time she made the video
It was dumb, but I don't think it was in lieu of legal action.

Not go 1990s Seinfeld, but shouldn’t it must be “found ceased”?

She did go to the police.
There was a restraining order (not much else they could do).

We knew it wasn't a muslim. The girl in the story is older than 6 and wasn't raped.

Am I following this correctly? Pretty lady finds out that her husband may be a pedo and her first response is to make a TikTok about it?
Damn, I am old.
Edit: okay reading through the comments she did go to the police. Still, this makes me feel old.

For most of them, it is. It is the only thing they live for.

Man.
A LOT of people victim blaming here.
Awful takes.
Sometimes people make bad decisions. Pointing that out is not victim blaming. Calling a psychopath, who you already have a restraining order on, a pedophile in front of the whole world, is a horrible decision.

There was 1 more thing she could do. Shut the frick up about it until he was in jail.
She is the victim and this is sad. None of this should have happened to her. At the same time, doing this was foolish and typical social media attention seeking behavior.
Shut. The. frick. Up. until it is resolved and you are completely out of danger

"41 year old tiktok influencer" is a sentence no one should ever write or speak.

Social media is a disease.
Agree , We gen Xers can see it because we made it to our mid to late 20's without it. The generations after us eat it up like candy. People getting paid to do and post stupid stuff that people would have said "How stupid do you have to be?" twenty years ago. All about the like and followers these days. Young people seem to think this is what defines success these days. Sad times.

I mean zero disrespect for the deceased and it is an extremely sad story, but she should have went to the police instead of doing it on a tiktok trend.
The police knew. He had been caught at a tournament by another teams coach kissing and fondling one of his players. He immediately left the gym and did not coach anymore that day. That child and her parents went to Owasso PD that day and informed police.
Because Duffey was an Osage, the investigation was sent to Federal Authorities. Because of McGirt, it was then sent to Tribal Police. Duffey had been in hiding for around a month. Owasso police supposedly had been looking for him.
Everyone in the area and in the AAU basketball community know/knew about what was going on and what happened. This was also turned over to the Feds because his grooming of the girl crossed state lines and happened at tournaments out of state. The police reported that Duffey also paid the young woman to stay quiet.

Owasso Police release timeline linking federal child sex crime case and murder-suicide
Police say a protective order was issued after a June child molestation investigation that was later referred to federal authorities before a deadly domestic violence incident in Owasso this week.
OWASSO, Okla. -Owasso Police have released new information connecting a June child molestation investigation involving a traveling youth basketball coach with an apparent murder-suicide that happened July 23.
Investigators say the suspect in both cases, 48-year-old Jeremiah Shawn Duffey, was under a protective order filed by his estranged wife when officers responded to the deadly domestic violence call.
June investigation referred to federal authorities
According to police, officers took a report June 9 after a juvenile and a parent came to police headquarters alleging inappropriate sexual contact during a basketball event at an elementary school.
Investigators said Duffey, who coached a traveling competitive basketball team, allegedly inappropriately touched a juvenile player. Police said similar conduct involving the same victim was reported to have occurred over an extended period in multiple jurisdictions and states.
Officials emphasized the team was not affiliated with Owasso Public Schools, and Duffey had no connection to the district. The team was renting the school’s gym while classes were not in session.
Because police determined the alleged offense occurred in Indian Country and Duffey was a member of the Osage Nation, the investigation was referred to the U.S. Attorney’s Office under the Federal Major Crimes Act, ending Owasso Police’s jurisdiction over the reported molestation case.

Ok well my bad. I did not investigate the entire story. I see she had an order in place, so guess thats on her then, is that what I should say.

Its awful, but man what was she thinking.
Plus publicly outing pedos is a thing people do.
But damn, what a sad story.

RE: "influencers," this wont shock you but a significant % are AI bots/constructs. Hundreds of thousands of sheep following 'people' and 'advice' who don't exist.

I have a kid that plays AAU ball and am local to the story. We had heard about what Duffey had done a while back when it happened. The biggest issue I have is that, if not for McGirt ruling, Duffey is likely in jail or is out on bail and wearing an ankle bracelet and none of this ever happens.
But because of the McGirt ruling, Indian Police drag their feet when prosecuting their own and things like this happen.
