She was stupid to out herself that way. Pedo's already have tons of mental problems so this just angered him even more and now you're dead as a result.

Too bad he didn't off himself in the process.

I mean zero disrespect for the deceased and it is an extremely sad story, but she should have went to the police instead of doing it on a tiktok trend.

Agreed. Social media has clouded a lot of judgment from lots of people. She was apparently an "influencer." The article says she had 78,000 followers.

Sara Gilson was a TikTok influencer from Oklahoma who had more than 78,000 followers and more than 2.1 million likes. Her most recent videos averaged hundreds of thousands of views, with several getting more than 1 million views.

Gilson had recently filed a protective order against Duffey, who was ordered to stay at least 100 yards away from her.

In three weeks this went from investigation into a complaint from a teenage girl on his travel basketball team to murder-suicide.

So she outed her ex-husband on tik-tok that he was a pedophile... That's pretty fricking stupid.

Edit: She probably thought the protective order meant an impenetrable force field would surround her and keep her safe. Obviously, this dude is a sick piece of shite. But I'm glad he is no longer alive.

I had a similar thought. I know she's dead which obviously sucks, but holy shite what an awful "LOOK AT MEEEEEEEEEE" trend that little video clip is. Looks a lot less like "I want help for the victims and to see justice brought to the perpetrator" and a whole lot more like "please give me likes and thumbs ups and 'I'm prayin for ya girlie's"

Yea, I had not heard of her but saw her video yesterday outting him and then a few videos later the story of the murder-suicide.

Its awful, but man what was she thinking. He obviously had issues and a protective order doesnt mean anything when someone wants to harm you.

Her friends probably told her it was a great idea and liked and shared the video.

While true, this could set anyone in a rage with mental problems. I'm sure more details will come out but do we know that he was in actual pedo yet?
I don't trust influencers that will do anything for clicks and attention.
