This is exactly why they tell you to keep your seatbelt on when seated.

Blown out, as the high pressure from within the cabin equalizes with the outside air's much lower pressure.

I just booked a flight for September, and I think I'm finally over my desire to sit by a window and see everything. Aisle seat is fine from now on.
And yes, unless I'm up and about, I stay buckled.

Or maybe just don't fly Ryanair?
There’s nothing wrong with RyanAir for a Euro, ultra low cost carrier. You can choose not to be ignorant

My wifes cousin, a former ATC in Vietnam, a recipient of seniority after Reagan fired all the union strikers, talked that plane down.

I prefer the aisle seats and pay extra to reserve one

Window seat every time.
So nice being able to sit my arse down and know I don’t have to deal with anyone needing anything from me until I deplane

Aisle for breathing room, exit, bathroom and to not be sucked out of plane.
Especially the…not be sucked out of plane part.

I remember watching the made for TV movie, and it scared the crap out of me. Luckily my family was too poor to fly, so I didn't have to relive the fear from that movie until I was an adult. The made for TV Movie is on YouTube. The plane coming apart is at approximately the 28:30 mark.

Greek media reported the incident had occurred over North Macedonia, and said the window had been broken by a piece of debris that detached from one of the plane's engines.
