It is laid out right there for you. It explains how the separation of Jews and Muslims as peoples came to be.

Where's the old testament scripture where God says something to the effect of "I'll fix corruptions of the Bible with a new faith..." and/or some prophecies that would point to God needing to re-establish his followers via a next-up prophet after Jesus?
I guess I'm looking for something similar to the several hundred prophecies foreshadowing Jesus that would foreshadow Muhammad and Allah.
