This is incredible stuff, and they are only going to get better and better at everything they do with Neuralink going forward. His emotion over this is awesome to see.

I made the mistake of scrolling through some comments on one of the Montana groups that pops up on FB. It was a post about Ted Turner. I was thinking recently that the only reason I might be able to think positively if I had ALS would be the expectation of a Black Mirror San Junipero technology one day.

Having a close friend in the late stages of battling ALS, this almost makes me want to cry. No words really. I doubt this technology would help him at this point but just knowing that it’s gonna be out there for the next person battling this monster, to at least give a semblance of their normal life back is amazing. Thanks for sharing this.

I've never seen an ALS patient who lost their speech before their mobility.

My wife has bulbar onset ALS. Her voice went first. She can't speak at all but can still eat some. She can still drive and do almost anything. She has trouble with buttons but thats very recent.
She was doing crossfit last December.
