I don’t think that counts all the people with IQs so low that they’re unable to function at a reasonable level within society?

You call that living?

First, I don't know how these studies could even remotely reflect accurate data so I don't believe that roughly 1/8 of the world's population is mentally ill by any relevant definition.

Second, I seriously doubt that the percentage of the population that is legitimately mentally ill has increased since a lot of mental illness is directly related to physical health and there's little doubt the overall health of the world's population has improved as the world has become more civilized aka food and medicine production has increased dramatically as well as the means to dispense them.

But I do agree that mental illness in the U.S. and Europe (West = about 1 billion in population so about an 1/8 of world total) has increased at least in part due to progressive brainwashing through social media and media in general. The mere fact so many young people seemingly doubt their biological sexuality says much about the underlying causes.
And the root cause is pretty much Globalist undermining Western civilization toward creating a New World Order in their own warped ideology.

Seems like evolution would have naturally fixed mental problems by now.
