Go Look at the rigs on IG. Lots of
Boats with quad, five, or six outboards like your describing. All it takes is the right fool and his money.

need to see what an $85,000 bass boat looks like.

It looks like a $65k bass boat with $15k in electronics and two power poles. Real easy to get there if you love catching fish more than I do.

They had a demo Valhalla 33ft with twins that supposedly got 1.4. I’m skeptical though. Would still rather triple 300 over quad 400s for redundancy, especially if mercury

My Lord, some men have a hell of a lot more money than me. I'm over here losing sleep over a 2018 or a new Toyota Camry. FML

I have fished a lot on CC’s and a handful of times on big sportfish boats.

I love driving a big CC fast in open water, but cost no object, I’m riding on the sofa watching tv in the ac and eating like a king all weekend while the poor folks listen to the howl of the generators and compressors on the floaters while trying to nap on their $2mil floating bean bag chair.

I’ll stick with my Tracker 185 tournament with a 90 Merc. I had to rebuild, reseat, and recarpet the entire thing, but at $2500, I’m pretty happy with it.

Ran an original Steve Stepp 30 velocity with twin merc 280s for years. Pushed it over 80mph plenty of times, and had more in it.

Once it got up on the pad, and the tabs were set right it was the smoothest ride there was. That boat liked a little chop though.

The rich guys can stroke each other’s dicks and buy multi-million dollar boats to put these outboards on all they want. I find it funny.

Can't believe they are that cheap, my 300R was nearly that much two years ago and I had to wait 11 months for it. 450Rs are pushing 50k now if you can find one. Hoping my new one is here in the next 8 weeks.

Not even close!!! The old merc 2.5l or the Yamaha OX66 are still, and were better. Plus to replace a powerhead will set you back under 5k.

This may be true but once you see color I would rather not work a big fish over motors. Also, I would rather have a salon with A/C and tuna door. Plus a good captain with the visibility afforded by a fly can make up for a lot of nimbleness those thrust vectoring systems have.
