Good Lord! Not only is the V10 expensive to buy....can you imagine feeding it?

they are incredible though
the verado 600 v12 has a 2 speed automatic transmission that gets boats on plane faster
it also has a steering system that only pivots the lower unit instead of the entire motor

Saw it in person at the Houston Boat Show last year. My dad is 6'0 180 lbs. It absolutely dwarfed him. That fricker was bigger than a hall bath.

These engines are being used on boats that would have traditionally used inboard diesel. Check the prices of two diesels vs 4 outboards.

That is a nice motor but I will stick with my Quad 7s. Even out of production, they are still serviced and the warranty holds.
