I have an easy solution if they want to get paid. I would pay a shitload of money for a PPV match of the women’s team vs the men’s. Hell, the women could take all the revenue.

fricking rapinoe celebrating a very late goal in a 13 goal win against a team that had only qualified for the world cup for the second time ever. Those poor Thai chicks were just happy to be there. Rapinoe showed her arse big time in that one.
There is no competition at all on the women's stage. And we KNOW what happens when they play boys, much less men.
They do not deserve equal pay for their non-sport.

How do you sign a contract with someone, accept their money as they're complying in good faith with the contract, and then sue them? I realize anyone can sue for just about anything, and that sometimes there's gray area over the terms of the contract and whether they were complied with, but this shite just seems like abuse of the system. There should be consequences.

Rather than trying to make their sport more competitive by pushing for change in African countries that still mutilate a woman's genitals, Middle Eastern countries that require women hide themselves, or Asian countries that pre-determine a woman's career path, they're whining for more money using a completely fabricated scenario and claiming they're similarly oppressed.

Yep, very classless. Running up the score is one thing, and even encouraged, as easing up can be seen as saying "your skill is so below mine that I don't have to put in full effort." But celebrating a blowout is total trash.
And the USWNT would get dumpstered by any good boys team in the country.

Yeah I posted this in the last thread on the topic but I think the women's national team might have problems coming up on the horizon. The Europeans are catching up, and with the coaching and training they have access to they could overtake us.

The only thing most people care about less than soccer in general is women’s soccer. She needs to accept the reality of this.

At 17 when he was breaking into Dortmund, Pulisic was already better than the best USWNT player.
