re: LSU Sports Weekend 3/28

Which team is in Houston today? Couple of friends sent me pictures of two LSU buses parked at a hotel here. A friend of mine that's in town is starting at the same hotel that the buses are parked at.

Heard the other day that if you are burned up in a fire your eyes melt before you die. Sounds bad.
I had them put it on the TV at the restaurant I was at tonight. It was probably the only thing people were interested in watching, at least for a little bit. but most didn't have a clue about what was going on. I had no clue it was going to be on tonight. I'm still enjoying it enough to keep watching.

What are the prices like in Louisiana? Not seeing much better than $10.50 per pound in Houston at restaurants. I'm not paying that. Not sure what prices are for live crawfish yet.
Calling you Coco.

I'm an 80's kid, born in 77.

My son is 8. We just watched Neverending Story and he loved it, even watched the sequel. I talked about that with a number of people I know and was shocked at how many have never heard of the movie. Most were younger, 20s and 30s. I couldn't believe that their parents didn't jump at the opportunity to show their kids that movie.

Now I'm wondering what movies I'm missing that he should see.

We've watched
Labyrinth
Grimlins
Goonies
And some others

Next up
Ghost Busters
Princess Bride
Short Circuit

What else do we need to watch?
He wasn't going to find some whole new civilization that's been living down in a fricking hole in the ground. He was going to find dirt and rock, and he wasn't expecting to find anything but dirt and rock.

I remember reading the thread on here about this. I'm extremely claustrophobic, I would never do anything like this.

One of my clients owns a number of Verizon locations. The cars he drives used to blow me away until I saw his house. It is massive. Really impressive.

I also know a guy that owns a dozen or so Sport Clips. Not super rich but he's definitely doing well.

But they are definitely in the minority obviously.

I thought it was fun enough and if it brings any new fans to the game then I'm all for it and golf probably needs to do everything they can to bring in New fans.

Like I said, my 8 year old even watched for a bit. I've been trying to get him interested in golf a little bit at a time. Only Top Golf really interests him so far, though he likes driving the car when I take him to the course. So if this gets him a little more interested then he just might become a golf fan for life.

Like someone else said, to a hard core fan, this probably won't be their thing. But to generate new interest, I think it could work. And I'll be tuning in each week to hopefully get my son more interested in golf.

More like watching them play on a golden tee good course.

I'm enjoying this more than watching the NBA, so at least there's that.

My 8 year old has watched more of this than regular golf. That's a win for me.

I like it so far. But I've only watched a few holes.

I don't trust the Jets right now. Which means Wilson is obviously the right play.

Nabers vs Saints (Nabers is expected to be limited)
Garrett Wilson @ Miami (don't trust the Jets lately)
Valdez-Scantling @ Giants (like his upside)
Darius Slayton vs Saints

1 PPR. Battling for second place. Playing the guy that is battling to stay out of last place. Projected to with even though I got 0 points from Reed.

Sound advice right here. Both were monsters this week. Rest of my team did well too, but these two led the way.

Dang, really wish I would had included Jayden Reed in my list, instead he sat my bench. But I don't think I would have played him anyways.

All good though, Nabers and Jacobs and Detroit's kicker got me a good start.

re: Saints go 8-9. How angry would you be?

Getting rid of Allen was enough to make me happy with any outcome this season.

Nabers…lock will want to sling it

I hope so, receiver used to be the strength of my team but now it's my only question mark deciding between

Nabers vs Dallas
Garrett Wilson vs Seattle
Scary Terry vs Tennessee

I could start all 3 but currently deciding between these two in my flex

Bucky Irving @ Carolina
Tyrone Tracy @ Dallas

It's all relative.

Median household income is definitely less than $100k.
