re: Is this your car? - cleeveclever
The article then said that they haven’t checked for blockages since before Katrina.
And why would they? Hurricanes that inundate a city with tons of water, very rarely move large objects in that water flow through the portals designed to carry said water flow. Wait...sorry. ...

re: Large spider - Is burning the house down sufficient? - cleeveclever
Whatever it is, it looks like it’s eating good. Just be prepared that if you kill it, whatever its eating will be back. Most big spiders are harmless. Let it be and enjoy the pest control benefits. ...

re: Coach Robelot passed away - cleeveclever
Was at Tara in the early 90s and he was a hell of a good coach. Had a really funny, dry sense of humor and alwyas worked his arse off to be in good physical condition. Saw him a few years back at an archery event (he also taught that and was damn good too) and he looked exactly the same as he did...

re: Baton Rouge Zoo renovations set to be complete in.....2046? - cleeveclever
At the rate the zoo kills its animals through gross negligence, by my calculations, by 2046 there will be roughly -137 animals there. ...

re: Are Our Phones Listening to Us? - cleeveclever
I was cleaning adjusting a piece of gutter guard on our gutters after removing Christmas lights and broke a small section of guard. I went in our bedroom and said “I gotta get another one of those things that catches leaves” because at that moment, the word gutter guard escaped me. The next ...

re: Got a tube in my ear a few months ago - possible trouble? - cleeveclever
sounds like the tube is doing what it’s supposed to do. It’s just a vent through your ear drum, so I assume the air and crackle you’re hearing is pressure from behind your eardrum escaping out. I’m not an ENT but I’ve had tubes several times. So I could be wrong but I’ve also experienced what yo...

re: How much were you charged to get tubes in you child’s ears? - cleeveclever
When my son had his tubes in 2013, my insurance was a lot better. It cost us $100 and that included any follow-up visits with the doctor related to the procedure. with my current benefits it would cost me anywhere from $1,500 - $2,500. ...

re: Todd Chrisley indicted on federal financial crimes - cleeveclever
It reminds me of how back in the day, people actually thought Liberace was straight. Like, there were legitimately people who were shocked when it was revealed that he was gay. I’m all for not judging a book by its cover — but if there’s an football on the cover, I’m not going to assume it’s a b...
I'd rather spend the extra 4 hours fighting with a dealer and saving my money.
Does that imply that you don't put a financial "value" on your time? I bought a vehicle from a dealer in 2015. It's took almost 6 hours and every person I spoke to at every 15 minute interval was pu...

re: Sonic Drive-In History, when did Baton Rouge get it's First Sonic? - cleeveclever
There was a Sonic on Florida Blvd right next to Sonny's BBQ - late 70's, maybe 1980
This makes sense. If you look at the building next to Sonny’s it still has the overhang roof on both sides with angled parking spaces and a post between each space. ...
