Starship Troopers is the reason I went into deep self-reflection and realized American culture loves fascism and the European mindset is superior and that leftism is awesome.

If it didn't have the same impact on you, you're just a dumb MAGA tard.
The 4th season should just be the board room of White Lotus International where the executives are freaking out about why people keep dying at their resorts
Same. As soon as he said “Y’all better learn them jetpacks” I lost my shite.

Such a ridiculous sentence when you think about it. Perfect for a Danny McBride show.
Only old people and weirdos go to Saturday evening Mass
I’m not crazy about what Trump is saying, but I think the only possible conclusions to this war are either (1) concessions by Ukraine or (2) global war with nukes.

If the EU wants to keep sinking money into this stalemate, let them. But to see Trump’s critics and EU bureaucrats seemingly advocating for escalation with a nuclear country like Russia just boggles my mind.

My hope is that Zelenskyy eventually cracks from Trump’s shite talk and comes to the table. I’d hoped Ukraine could pull it off for the past couple of years, but it’s time for everyone to just take their lumps and let the killing - and potential for more global conflict - come to an end.

She should have said it is on the Missouri River and is the oldest German town in the state. She also could have added that each year they have a huge Oktoberfest where the women wear dirndlkleiden, the men wear lederhosen, everyone gets drunk, and husbands throw up on their wives' shoes.

but does it have stop lights?

Besides first names there’s literally nothing else. How would even a Wop Genius like Tommy Gufano figure it out?

If you think that’s impressive, you should see what he found to set up that Shearson Lehman prick.
A few months ago I read an article that said the United Airlines CEO was worried about the lack of ATC staff and I was feeling pretty burnt out by my job at the time and started to research a possible pivot into that career.

I don’t think I could do it now. Major props to the folks that have the balls and fortitude to guide thousands of lives to safety every single day.

No

Apparently the Potomac even in the middle just near the airport is only 11’ deep per local news.

Yea it’s a pretty shallow river in that area. One of my first thoughts was how deep the wreckage could actually be, and unfortunately the impact after the collision would’ve been pretty devastating as well.
There’s always a steady flow of planes flying into DCA every day. You can’t miss the never-ending stream of lights of planes making their approach at night.

Any military pilot who has experience flying in that area would know the directions the planes are coming from at any given time. Truly bewildering how an Army Blackhawk pilot would not be on the lookout for a passenger plane on approach.
Coast Guard choppers fly up and down the Potomac all day, but I’ve never seen them get that close to DCA.

Something must have been seriously wrong for a chopper to be that close to a landing path.

Going back to re-watch and finish the original Daredevil series is something I’ve been meaning to do for a long time. I don’t think I ever got to finish S3 and only watched a few eps of The Punisher before I gave up Netflix a while back.

Can anyone fill me in on what I should watch so that I don’t feel completely out of the loop on this new series?

I’ve loved this version of Murdock and Fisk since it came out, I just never had a chance to stay on top of it.

So let me get this straight

- Fire last GM and hire a new GM that doesn’t get along with Vrabel

- have that GM hire a new coach after firing Vrabel for them not seeing eye to eye

-then fire that GM but keep the new coach the new GM just hired

Yeesh.

The lesson here is nothing will get you fired from the Titans quicker than losing to the Texans while wearing the Oilers uniforms.

Amy Adams Strunk has been a decent owner for everything expect football operations.

I don’t think Ran should’ve been the sacrificial lamb here. Callahan is clearly in over his head and isn’t ready to be an NFL HC.

Ran at least seems to have at least hit on some of his draft picks, unlike Jon Robinson who whiffed on damn near everyone from 2019-2021.

This team looked horrible in every possible aspect this year. Zero improvement throughout the season. At least with Vrabel, you knew the players were going to give it their all. Callahan’s a nice guy, just not a HC.

And I don’t care what some other Titans fans say, this franchise was trying to be competitive this year and wasn’t focused on tanking until maybe week 13.
