Many thanks to Donati for making this happen. It’s crazy what having a guy with legitimate AD experience can do for a football program.
Tanner would’ve probably told Shane to hire Elliot or Furrey before accidentally locking himself in a hot car.

I’ve been one of the biggest critics of Beamer but I gotta hand it to him on this hire. Briles is exactly the kind of playcaller we’ve needed.
Funny what being on the hot seat forces a coach to do. My only wish is that Beamer had tried to make something like this happen 3 years ago, but I’ll take it.

Briles is the OC I want and I’m shocked Shane might’ve actually learned how to play the game.
He would be a home run hire IMO. He’s a proven playcaller with a history of dramatically improving offenses.
Any SC fan that’s upset over this possibility because of his last name needs to grow a pair of hairy nuts. I’d take an entire staff of slimeballs if it means we finally sustain some success in football.

I fricking love it when corruption benefits us
Only thing that can save this is if one of Heidi's titties popped out
Gianni Infantino just comes off as a straight shooter to me. That's a guy you could trust with your kids.

I assume after this performance Amy Schumer is going to come out to introduce a performance by Imagine Dragons who is going to then introduce Tom Cruise who is then going to introduce Coldplay, and then they'll get to the drawing around 3pm?

I heard the teams and locations are going to be announced in Dutch and Italian and no subtitles will be provided.

We are a dumb fanbase. Full of dumb assholes that are too scared to demand more. So the spiral will continue.

regardless of clemson outcome
Well this is just stupid. A horrible season and a loss to a horrible Clemson team, and he’d still be safe?
This is why South Carolina is South Carolina. Too scared to make the moves that successful programs do.
He better hire a damn good OC, retain talent, and spend like hell in the portal in a few weeks, or I’m gonna be checked out next year.
Oh and he better learn to keep his mouth shut during halftime interviews and stop trying to fight other coaches.
Rock hard. I’m rock hard.
IMO Shane’s halftime comments - not the historic collapse - were the real embarrassment this past weekend. I get that he’s shown signs of being a good “team culture” guy, but when you really look at his tenure here, he’s absolutely just an overly emotional crybaby that throws fits anytime he’s questioned or criticized.
It’s as if his real motivation in winning football games is so that he can have his moment being on the verge of tears in front of a microphone on the field.
Personally, I never found him to be that likable and just haven’t understood what other fans see in him to think he’s a good representative/leader of our university.
I thought him trying to fight Bielema last year was profoundly humiliating, yet he’s outdone himself again and it’s just tiring at this point.
