It's not about revenue. It's about opportunity cost for the players.
You have to pay them enough to make it worth their considerable commitment of time, effort, injury risk, etc.
For men, that is much higher, because the pay in professional soccer is much higher for men.
The men have a lot more to lose than the women do playing international soccer, so the national teams have to pay them more. That's the entire explanation.

There are plenty of girls I've played with that have good technical skills, but the body type that generally develops is not suited to riding challenges. I don't ever feel like I can play at full speed with them. And the girls I do play with in the regular pickup crew all played at the college level, and one was even capped at the U-21 level for a small European nation.
The inability of girls to withstand really simple challenges on the ball has been a consistent experience of mine playing pickup games. Maybe it was different for you.

Their entire mindset is straight up “give me! give me! give me” just because of SJW reasons. No logic whatsoever. They basically just want to STEAL money from the men’s revenue.
If women’s soccer (or women’s sports in general) brought in more money then they would be paid more and deservingly so. However, that simply isn’t the case. This isn’t difficult.
That would be like if you had two gas stations located on the same street, but one of them generated four times the amount of revenue than the other. You think it’s okay to steal their money because your store didn’t earn as much?

No, that was my experience. Most of those games were at the U14 level because the girls coach didn't want us hurting her players as we had all gotten much bigger and stronger after puberty. And those scrimmages were very unstructured where either coach would blow a whistle in the middle of the action to coach a player on something, so they had really disjointed flows to them.
I never did any pick-p coed games that I recall. I pretty much quit playing soccer when I was 16 after breaking an ankle and losing interest in playing.

They do earn more per game than the men, and have produced more total revenue, but the biggest difference in pay comes not from the USSF, but from the FIFA prize pool, which is only $30 million for the entire women's WC, and was $400 million for the men's tournament. A team placing last in the group stage is entitled to $8 million in the men's bracket, and a much lower sum in the women's game. The fault here is the fact that the women's game generates almost no interest. The USWNT wants to use the men's prize money to make up the difference, which is idiotic on its face, and would absolutely destroy the federation itself, as the men would never agree to such a thing, and I'm skeptical FIFA would either.
