“They are real and they are spectacular”.

This was the chick from Shocking Blue who was the original vocalist on the song, “Venus”.

Anybody know when it’s set to open?
I played for the Old Jefferson Lions (we sucked) and the PAL Panthers ( didn’t suck as much). I remember getting our asses whooped by the Bengals and the Broncos. I also remember playing the Sherwood Hawks, Sherwood Falcons, Park Forest Pirates, and the Broadmoor Bucs.

Also have fond memories of American Legion baseball out of Forest Park.

Those were the days, baws!

The best out of all of those IMO was Sanford & Son. It was hilarious. The two funniest characters were Grady (what a dumbass) and Aunt Esther. The confrontations she had with Fred were epic. Fred’s insults were always on point and Rollo the criminal was always the anti Smitty & Hoppy (white bread nerd). Classic 70’s comedy.

Very close 2nd:

All in the Family
Ever heard Idol’s version of L.A. Woman? It’s pretty damn good. IMO, his best songs other that DWM were Catch My Fall and Rebel Yell.
That money is probably going into a corrupt politician’s pocket.

She’s a commie pinko.
Because socks and shoes inhibit the max amount of curry stench to be released.
Check out the GMC Canyon. Pretty good value for the money.
She’s got a nice rack, but that’s kinda where it ends for me.
I played for the Old Jefferson Lions in ‘79 and then for the P.A.L. Panthers from ‘80 to ‘82. The Panthers were coached by Dickie Cason and then John Pourciau. Cason’s sons James and John were on the team and Pourciau’s son Johnny. We regularly got our asses beat by the Bengals and the Broncos but it was still fun times. We practiced for the Lions and the Old Jefferson Racquet Club which is now a BREC park and at Southeast Middle for the Panthers.

I really miss Southeast Baton Rouge in the late 70’s and early 80’s. It was a much simpler time and life was better with less crime and traffic and THERE WAS NO TRAVEL BALL!!
