So her marketing idea was to target the less than 1% of people of which most probably don’t drink beer and at the same time would then alienate a huge portion of their actual customers?
Exactly. She didn't just throw this campaign out there un-noticed. Someone else had to think this was a good idea. AB deserves what they get. It's apparently the majority of AB marketing with these warped arse views.

I really hope this comes to light. I find it kind of interesting how this one woman completely destroyed a major brand overnight.

How you hire that woman in the first place shows poor management skills. Just watching her interview you knew she was off.

It doesn’t even make sense to target such a small demographic. In simple math they had 100 customers. She alienated 90 of them to target 2 they didn’t have. So now they have 12. That’s probably being generous. Brilliant!

Along New Coke, this will be a chapter taught in Industrial Psychology as examples of massive failures.

maybe- seems more likely this incident will be memory-holed. Nobody in academia or the media will want to refer to it again, unless it's to criticize the reaction by the public.

That seems more likely a CYA, but honestly I have no idea. I doubt anyone at AB saw it. But you'd think they'd run it by the Bud Light executives? I honestly have no idea, I'm surprised someone at AB or a former employee hasn't come out and discussed this.

A creative visionary starts a business and then after he dies, and/or the company goes public, the company is then run by someone who isn't creative, has no vision, but went to business school.

She's a perfect example of how modern feminism has absolutely nothing to do with empowering or enriching women. It's all about their jealousy and hatred of heterosexual men. Notice she didn't say her aim was to attract or add women customers. No, the brand was "too fratty". This campaign was solely focused on tweaking the sensibilities of mainstream male beer drinkers.

All of these things are just power plays. They have a chance to seize some of it and they went full on. People are failing to recognize that and shut it down

It goes beyond that. She targeted 2 that are part of a demographic that are not brand loyal. They are very loyal of boycotting things...but not so much with regards to purchases.

Have updated sales numbers been posted. I’ve seen a ton of anecdotal stories and some “billions in marketshare lost” headlines, but I’m wondering if there are accurate sales numbers out there yet.

“What’s in your worry box?” didn’t make you wanna put her in charge?

There's also a class warfare element as well. They hate working class, blue collar people, especially men.

Exactly. Which is why people like her want to change the image of the brand.
She's a sheltered bitch.

She's lived a life inside various ivory towers. People at the top of most corporations are also almost all exactly like her so it's not a surprise why they're shocked at this reaction.
