I haven’t been really keeping up with this. What I’ve heard/read about it has been on here. I think it’s sickening, but I was thinking like some, that this won’t hurt much & blow over. No a big deal.
Well I have a buddy in the beer business for the past 20 years, so I texted him. He said there was an “initial shock & sales were down a bit”, but texted me today after many conversations with clients, said there “down 28% & expect another 5-10% decrease by weeks end”. So I was wrong.
He also said the small bars, where you have you’re regulars, & everyone knows everyone, they’re calling it “trans piss”

He said they’re at -31% end of day & expects it to hit -50% by next week. He also said he doesn’t see it letting up any time soon & will most likely last through the summer, which will really hurt, as that’s when most beer is consumed. The baws are not drinking the “trans piss”

My personal top 3 list of brands I do not support / refuse to buy due to the wokeness includes Bud Light, Cole, and Disney.

My post said nothing about LGBT. Not one of those letters were even mentioned. My post was about you trying to tell us we are wrong and stupid because other brands support gays.
As I mentioned before, the issue WE are discussing is trans, not the entire gay community. Big difference but you keep putting them all in one pot.

I agree with this, but I think all the publicity they are getting from this is doing the opposite of marginalizing trannies. Everyone talking about this does somewhat normalize trannies.
The best move wouldve been to just not make a huge deal out of this.

Very much this and you would think Disney figured it out:
Trannies will praise you for representation but they won't buy your products. Just like they apparently don't go to the movies..
Or maybe it's just the actual demographic is so small and people are slowly catching on to how cultish it actually is that attempting to appeal to them is a lose lose situation unless you're just out for some ESG money.
