Are doctors officially putting fewer patients on vents on purpose? Seems like it? When are we going to get over the lack of ventilators and move on to something else to worry about?

We average about 50 or so deaths per day. That’s like losing a damn neighborhood every day

Thats because they are testing on just about every corner of the neighborhoods where people can just walk to the testing site.
25 cases in 2 days out of 500 test doesnt seem like much to me

Setting aside Covid, what is Louisiana's normal daily mortality? Will be interesting to see how the first half of 2020 compares to the same period in 2019.

I know deaths are lagging, but they shouldn’t be lagging that far behind hospitalizations and vents when new cases are still in the 400-500 range. Something isn’t adding up here.
It’s almost like deaths are being overcounted.

They’ve already admitted that the death numbers aren’t being reported properly. Basically they’re counting anyone that dies from an underlying health condition right now as a COVID death and not testing them to see if they have the virus.

yea man, screw all those people for letting themselves get old. If they took better care of themselves they wouldn't have aged! Maybe we can implement a policy like that movie Logan's Run where we just start offing everyone at a certain age so we don't have to deal with them anymore

Honor code going around in communities asking people if they want to be tested just to keep the numbers going.
Apparently he put a target number of tests he wanted to see before reopening, didn't catch the number. Wonder if the lack of updating the tests #s is because we are getting close to that number
