re: Woman run over by float during Nyx and killed on parade route in NOLA - Golfer
Guessing you heard that around the parade route?
No. He’s a terrible troll that likes to start shite in otherwise informative threads. It’s best to ignore him. ...

re: What are the most preventable traffic obstacles in BR that are caused by idiots - Golfer
The sensor is within 20’ of the stop line. If you’re arguing for a rolling stop. Sure. If you’re saying hit the on ramp at 50+ you’re defeating the purpose of the meter. I get on everyday at Essen/12 westbound and the people that run the meter light cause more problems merging with those heading...
Except that is how it works.
Every ramp metering article I’ve read says otherwise. Along with the signs on the ramp that say “Stop here on red”. ...

re: Are We Running Any Kind Of Offense? - Golfer
What's hilarious is last night was one of our "better" nights in terms of offensive movement, off ball screens, etc. Ran a lot more "sets" than normal in the halfcourt and off inbounds plays given the defense we were playing against. ...

re: Are We Running Any Kind Of Offense? - Golfer
I'm not asking about productivity...I'm asking is this a set offense with a name...or just glorified street ball where we're making a nice % of our shots. That's all..
It's just a motion offense. Most call it the annexation of Puerto Rico. ...

re: Parades: Trash Crew cleaning now - Golfer
Didn't realize the Parks and Rec department managed the neutral grounds. In most municipalities, they are the "best" run department....
By his stance they should shut down Mardi Gras until the sewer inspections are complete.
Not at all what I was saying. I was actually assuming what people would be griping about for 8 pages. Not that it was my opinion. ...

re: Parades: Trash Crew cleaning now - Golfer
Good thing about employing so many people is that the city can multitask.
Why the East is still a public works and blight mess?
The dumbasses were slowing down public transit which should be corrected.
Agreed. I was speaking more for the small, neatly packed stu...

re: Parades: Trash Crew cleaning now - Golfer
So if you have stuff out more than 4 hours prior to a parade and it’s unattended, it’s subject to removal? I don’t see an issue with that.
I’m not reading through 8 pages, but I think the issue is that the city has about 5000 problems that are more important than some tables and ch...
If you have "ample batteries" just get the tool separate. I must be missing something.
I’ll use the 10-tool pack I was referencing earlier. To buy the 8 tool onlys I actually want/need would be about the same/more as buying the combo pack. ...

re: Tool Combo Pack Rant - Golfer
No, I bought a 5-tool combo kit that came with two batteries and charger, then bought only the tools and batteries I needed from there on, often on sale. Now have a two-bank jobsite charger, a charger mounted in my work vehicle I can run off the built-in inverter, and two each of 3.0, 4.0, an...
