Yeah... I assume you’re right. I seem to remember the last storm we had, took a last minute shift and some people weren’t as prepared.

I would assume it"s pretty accurate, not accounting for unforseen events like a big wobble or slowing down/speeding up

What I got from the tropical tidbits video in a nutshell. Laura is more North than they expected so the eastern projections are more likely.

I bet this thing ends up further East than they think. It would almost have to go due west at this point to reach the projected landfall area

I remember driving in from Texas after Katrina. Got to Hammond no big deal, got to Robert, the Interstate was closed. Made it up to Uneedus, and looked like a bomb had gone off. 20 miles from Hammond.

I live in Mandeville, 18 miles from the western eye wall. Katrina fricked shite up beyond belief. I drove through I-10 in MS and saw appliances on side the interstate with the billboards twisted into pretzels....crazy!

Stopped there on a trip back from Houston one time and went into the McDonald's before I knew anything about that town. This was 9ish in the morning and the place was kind of crowded. I stood in line then gave them my order and the whole time I had a odd feeling. Something just didn't seem right and it wasn't until I was walking out the door that I realized what it was. I got a ways down I-10 and called my friend in Houston whose house I had just left. I told him, yeah I just saw something very weird and when I told him he immediately said you was in Vidor.

Not really
If you draw a line from where it left Cuba to where it is now the line would go into central Texas south of Houston. I think they have track nailed at La\Tx border

So what is this talk of this bitch moving back East? Is it still a LA/TX border landfall?
