And more people will have to start making that decision for prices to come down. But as of right now demand is as strong as ever.
The meat packers don't have jack shite to do with the herd size. I agree the packers issue needs to be fixed but that is a completely separate issue from the herd size.
Stay the frick out of it, all they are going to do is jack up the industry. Demand has not fallen at all so prices obviously are not that high.
I currently have a Samsonite, only complaint with it is the smallish size, limited space.
Title says it all, I need a recommendation for a new carry on travel bag. Something that I can use for a week long trip.

Tia.
Speaking if that what is your take on changing transmission fluid. My 16 GMC is about due for the 2nd change since the rebuild. Do them evey 25K miles or so. Well the last guy I brought it to said not to do a change, because it will pull more material off the plates and cause it to start slipping.
If you aren't already in that line of work I would recommend trying to find someone who already is with a good track record and networking base.

A little bit of a personal rant and a story for all those who are scared to make the jump.

For years I begged dad to branch out and start his own thing. I was going to quit my job and go work with him, offered to take all the financial liability. He had experience running a company and has an insane networking base along with most of the market in his industry cornered and has for over a decade. I knew it would be successful, if there is a ideal candidate to start your own thing he is it. I would come up with different business plans, scenarios, etc and he would never jump. In his defense he has PTSD from seeing/handling the demise of a large family business when he was younger that was no fault of his own.

Anyway, he reaches retirement age and retires from the company he worked for over 20yrs and teams up to "consult/sale" with a small family business he had worked with for a long time.

End of this year makes year number 4. When my dad started with him the company was averaging $2-3M in revenue a year. The later half of this year has been slow and they will close with around $20M in Rev, they did $25M last year.

He has no ownership, straight 1099 with a split on all work he brings in. Owner is looking to sell. He has made good money with the deal, 2x3 of his old job. The owner will retire and set his family up.

So these aren't normal oysters? A larger variety?
Beef demand is still very high. You don't like the price buy white meat. Drought and high input cost is how we got here and inky time is going to fix the supply side. However demand staying high will keep supply lower for longer.
Up 15% on the week, for this stock that is a win. I am also now decently green!
What am I missing? Been on a tear all week.
Ehh, that is probably like the same bs a lot of pro Ukraine people say, Russia has lost 5 million men!
You want a small investor to go in with you? I am probably good for a quarter share. Will brush all the blinds, put out decoys, all of it!
Did you see my post in your last thread? I think it would be great to just update the OP each year with a little different or more info instead of a new post every year of the same thing.
End up getting a limit, caught probably 40+ fish total.
No tide or wind, gnats are biblical.

I am in the land of 12"s, anyone have tips on where the bigger trout are right now?

Tia

Help me understand

I haven't kept up with this so trying to understand LK leaving when OM is playing so well.

Can OM not match or beat our offer? Not as much NIL money?

Or is $ not an issue and simply thinks LSU is the better shot to win a title with?
