French Gendarmerie Nationale forensic experts deploy in Ukraine to investigate war crimes around Kyiv. AFAIK this is the first declared presence of NATO military personnel in Ukraine since the war began. twitter.com/edeponcins

SIAP but a good synopsis on Russia’s struggles, much of which can be chalked up to incompetence from the top down.

You've seen pictures of Russian tanks being dragged off by Ukrainian farmers' tractors
The Ukrainian government has even issued instructions on how citizens should turn in abandoned military vehicles.
Authorities also confirmed that anyone who found such "combat trophies" did not need to declare them for tax purposes.

I work with the French military regularly. They’re good. They were the only country that could operate in and over Libya without US support during the Libyan civil war and their intervention in Mali back in 2013 was impressive by any standard. Look that one up if you get the chance. Unfortunately it’s spiraled into France’s version of Iraq/Afghanistan now.
Outside of a 3-week period in May 1940, the French military has been impeccable.

CossackGundi and his unit have surrendered.

Same plus India, Philippines, and Australia. The countries pushed to China would be minor players.

After the last 45 days I think it’s fair to say the French were as negatively affected by WWII perspective as the Russians were positively affected. Neither perception is/was likely anywhere close to reality.

Vietnam is far more in our sphere of influence than China.

I would have agreed with that up to 6 months to one year ago. This administrations foreign policy has shifted Vietnam, not out of a want to necessarily, but out of perceiving weakness, decline in America to ties with China in trade. Harris's trip to Vietnam was a diplomatic disaster. During Harris's trip the Vietnamese went as far as to summons the Chinese ambassador to let him know that they did not agree with anything said in Harris's speech, and they also reaffirmed Vietnam's current cooperation with China. Vietnam currently see's weak American leadership and thinks they are choosing the ascending side.

Railway bridge in Shebekinsky District, Belgorod Oblast, has been heavily damaged by what looks like a saboteur attack.
The bridge is located at 50.388086,36.831113, about 6.5 km away from the Ukrainian Border.

That wasn't one guy with a grenade in his pocket. It took s fair amount of explosives and some time Mind-blowing the Russians don't have guards on every bit of infrastructure in a war zone, but par for the course for these slapdicks.

Yes... anyone that says otherwise you can simply dismiss as being completely ignorant...

I have been wondering how long it would be before reports of this type of action hit the interwebs.
It seems fairly logical that interdiction of Russia's supply lines (in Russia) would be a high priority target for the Ukrainians.
There have probably been more occurrences of this, we just haven't heard about them.

It's things like this that make me wonder how much more accurate the "just the roads" map is compared to the standard occupation map. 've only started hearing about it from a twitter thread someone posted.

This is from a month ago...looks like mostly Russia has lost ground although a few areas they have expanded

The maps really show the change in focus for the invaders. It also shows the practical side, that Russia is not occupying wheat fields.

Russian geniuses tried to disrespect the American flag by dragging it behind their tank when they drive, but instead the exhaust makes it fly...
