We had three good games against P5 opponents last year. Auburn, Tennessee, and Mississippi State
Although in that Auburn game they helped us out, they had more total yards but they also had 5 turnovers

Arthrogenic muscle inhibition
The nervous system will inhibit muscle contraction in the muscles surrounding an injured joint to prevent further injury
I had something like this happen to me after a relatively minor knee injury. Kept having pain, weakness, and instability. I had to train my leg to work normally again. I did strength training, working each leg individually with very light weights and gradually (over many months) worked up to heavier and heavier weights. It taught my muscles to fire normally again.

He's 6'5" and his head would probably touch the rim if his body/neck were completely straight. So around a 43" vertical assuming this is the top of his jump

If BP can keep the offense humming (I'm confident he can), hire a good DC and let him do his thing, and navigate the NIL world competently, then doesn't he give us as good a chance of winning as anyone else?
Hiring a good DC and navigating NIL are the parts that we can't be sure about. But having a great offense is so valuable and if we hire someone else, we need to make sure they can either coach a great defense or do as well or almost as well as BP on offense.
