There was another thread where people were maintaining Ukraine has always been part of Russia and that Ukrainians are Russian.

don't know if it was the same article, but they said 40% would be for internal consumption, the rest will be available to export, assuming they have a way to export it. I've been seeing warnings of a global food crisis as a result of this. Ukraine produces 20-25% of the world's wheat.

Losing France would hurt because they are a permanent member of the UNSC and a nuclear weapons state. However, it won't be that big of a loss especially if Sweden and Finland join NATO. France has 222 active MBTs. France has 95 4th generation fighters. Finland has 200 Leopard2s and Sweden has 122 Leopard2s. Sweden has 71 4th generation fighters, and Finland has 55 4th generation fighters in its Air Force right now and has ordered 64 F35s. So if France left NATO and Sweden and Finland joined NATO; NATO would add 110 modern MBTs and 31 4th generation fighters. Plus those MBTs and fighters are closer to NATO's biggest threat than France's are. Sweden and Finland joining NATO would offset the loss of France.
However, LePen is not going to win so it's irrelevant.

That reads more like an issue with discipline and not necessarily an overall systemic decision to commit war crimes… either way it’s inexcusable. The fact russian leadership can’t control local units from committing atrocities is sad but expected I guess.

I wonder if they didn’t on purpose as now Russia has to dismantle and rebuild as opposed to having to just rebuild. Might take longer?

Remember when the people in that thread were arguing that there were millions of Ukrainians who would welcome Russia with open arms, and the Ukrainians who did not just had not realized that they were Russians who did not know they were Russians because of western propaganda?

That's not the issue. The issue is the government paying farmers to farm corn for ethanol, not food production.
We're literally using taxpayer dollars to incentivize farmers to grow less food.
