I finally just quit posting about The Russian invasion of Ukraine in the poli board. I am not far from doing the same here. I don’t see any difference in the behavior of a lot of the posters there and the ultra woke types. Two sides of the same coin.

It’s highly annoying. Not begging anyone to post or not, just know your posts are appreciated in here. Personally, a solid portion of the reason I continue to read the thread. I keep reading this thread and contributing in my own way because of maybe 5-6 consistent posters, of which you’re one.

The problem is the inability of folks to turn it off or change topics. This is a war update thread, not a propaganda showcase. Attempting to derail the thread is a disservice.

It’s nice that you think so highly of yourself that you can, one, decide what posts are and are not permissible in a thread on an anonymous message board, and two, tell me what to do or tell me what my intentions may be.
As far as point one, you’re not new here, so you shouldn’t be shocked that conversations evolve. Moreover, it’s pretty difficult to separate so easily American motives from simple factual updates about the conflict, as almost every page in this thread shows.
As far as point two, you can go frick yourself.
