Which is why the fact you can't answer it reflects so poorly on you.

understand the Russians attempted yet another wet crossing by pontoon bridge across the Siverski Donets River, at the same location of the last two disasters. The Ukrainians reportedly mined the pontoon bridge and the Russians again suffered serious losses.

All I can say is wow.

But Lima Whiskey assured me that Russia was being cautious and don't sustain many losses

Russian losses will be much lower. They’re being very cautious.

There are not as many Russian losses (maybe), but they are happy to throw the Donbas conscripts in the front wave. It's basically "Operation: get behind the darkies" from South Park. The Russians announced a bit under $40 billion (coincidence?) effort to rebuild the region. Rebuilding some of the stuff they've destroyed. But not all the lives they've sacrificed for Putin's delusions and the energy Oligarchs. Any state with even remote autonomy has to be watching this and saying "frick all this".

According to the poliboard this thread is pro sending troops to Ukraine. Upvote if you believe the US should send troops to fight in Ukraine, downvote if you believe we should not send troops

Don’t even joke about that, you’re bound to give OML an aneurysm.

But in all seriousness, I just wish we’d stop dicking around and give them more relevant aid like long range anti ship missiles or cruise missiles. That would go a long way towards reducing the threat, and could’ve been done for way less than $41B.

That cesspool is drooling for American soldiers to come home in caskets. It's the thread that perfectly exemplies how neocons have taken over the American left.

ETA: Probably shouldn’t have posed this here. I don’t want to derail this thread for the 100th time, but that post is such a disgusting lie that I thought it should be called out

They have to take that position. It's not possible to justify sucking Putins dick without strawmanning the opposition.

That guy is quite a character. He came into this thread a month or so ago and accused us all of being globalist NWO neocons (pick your favorite buzzword, I lose track of them all), and the discussion went a bit like this:

“You’re all neocons!”
“Wtf?? No we’re not?”
“Yes you are! REEEEEE”

Honestly I find those types downright entertaining

Interesting figure SCLib is. He probably doesn't like Mexican food because of Mexicans and that is a shame.

I’ve read 99.5% of the comments in this 1176 page thread and I’ve not seen one person being serious call for American troops in Ukraine.

Why should I care what the short bus posters spew?

The one element of this operation that has consistently drawn praise here and elsewhere is the fact that the administration has pursued efforts that do not include risking American lives. The administration has not telegraphed any desire to change this.

Hmm. Kind of like how anyone in this thread who questions our motives in Ukraine gets called a Russian agent, or “Putain” knob gobbler, etc.

Second different tweet from this account one of the people I’ve picked up following since the start of the war has shared today. Got almost 40k followers. Interesting.

It was a dumb question to ask if you thought Putin was justified in threatening to use nukes if Russia’s sovereignty is threatened while he is doing that EXACT thing right now by invading Ukraine? Just admit that you can’t put a pro Russian spin on it and salvage what little dignity you might have left. Oh and you’re frickstick.

I will agree that folks are often too quick to jump to that conclusion. However, the guy getting the most flak (Lima Whiskey) said outright that a Russian victory would be preferable in his mind. So it’s not exactly a stretch to call him out as being pro-Russia in all of this.
