Actually the thugs will then probably demand that all of the racist statues that were removed be replaced with statues of honorable and deserving members of Black Lives Matters and The New Black Panther Party. Mitch will love and embrace the idea and quickly get the ball rolling!

Fox 8 ran a pretty good story at 10 asking the mayor some questions about how much this has cost the city and some other questions he couldn't answer.
They also reported that the monument task force is considering filing contempt charges etc in federal court against the mayor

I'm actually shocked, with the Lawyers who graduated from Tulane, who probably have firms in NO, that none of them went to war with the mayor and called in favors to keep it in courts with injunctions.
The big firms have judges who will get them an injunction at the drop of a dime.

I hope they find a respectful place to move the monument. I also hope they reflect on how this change does nothing to alter history and nothing to fix "race relations".

My 9 year old daughter asked me tonight "are they going to take the one down in the French Quarter? That's my favorite one".
Of course she has no idea what or who Andrew Jackson is or what he did but she's very aware of what this Mayor is doing to this city. She will grow up, look back and realize what this cock sucker has done.
I haven't heard one thing from the mayor about how this is going to help or what's the next step. All I hear is "the monuments are coming down whether you like it or not, frick you and deal with it".
