re: Cat finds new home after walking 12 miles back to family who rejected him - OGJangalang
They were strays that someone dumped off and my Wife began feeding them. We tried to bring them inside to prevent this sort of thing from happening but they are absolutely terrified of the indoors. I'm assuming whoever dumped them off in our neighborhood had them locked up in a room for an extended...

re: Cat finds new home after walking 12 miles back to family who rejected him - OGJangalang
People who are cruel to animals are the lowest form of human trash! Something is seriously wrong with someone who hurts, abandons, or mistreats a pet of their own or anyone else's! I've never been a cat person either but my Wife is and we have a few outdoor cats. I've actually grown attached to them...

re: A homage to Les - OGJangalang
nice spin...and I guess it doesn't bother you at all that LSU is getting hosed in the "contract."
If LSU is getting hosed due to the contract that Les was given, then there are no words that can describe the level of sodomy LSU has and will endure due to Alleva's contract with Co...

re: Truck and boat hit by Amtrak train in Ponchatoula - OGJangalang
Yes, they have crossing arms on all RR crossings. I can remember a family getting killed in Ponchatoula around 20 years ago because there was no crossing guard. Since then, they’ve shut those crossings down. Instead of 5 crossings in Ponchatoula, there’s now 3.
My Dad was employed ...

re: Anyone know why Orgeron reacted so strongly to the Pete Carroll/Jerry Sullivan question? - OGJangalang
Orgeron is in over his head and he knows it. His lies are being recognized and questioned and he lashes out in anger when anyone dares to point out the inconsistencies between his previous and current statements to the press or fan base. The pressure of running an SEC football program of LSU'S magni...

re: Turkey Hunting Report - OGJangalang
I hunt in Mississippi and got my first this morning, (9.48" beard and 1.16" spurs). I thought the rain was going to ruin my hunt but I got lucky and it held off till I was back in the truck and on my way home. I also heard several other birds which will make for restless sleep while waiting on tomor...

re: Recommendations for a flashlight - OGJangalang
Surefire. They are not cheap but I have at least 15 of their flashlights and can honestly say that they are worth every penny! The Surefire Minumus Variable-Output Headlamp is what I use for blood trailing deer. It has 13 preset outputs from 5 lumens up to a max of 300 lumens and a sturdy well desig...

re: Sunday cigar thread- What are you baws lighting up? - OGJangalang
I picked up a box of the Curivari Buenaventura Pralines 5X54 on a friends recommendation. I didn't really expect them to be anything more than a yard work cigar but I was pleasantly surprised. Definitely one of the best sticks I've had at their price point. ...

re: Sunday cigar thread- What are you baws lighting up? - OGJangalang
Enjoyed a Partagas Serie D No.4 from 2011 with my morning coffee and I've got a Cohiba Behike 52 from 2015 just resting in the humidor for my Sunday night smoke!...

re: Dobyn's Champion Rods - OGJangalang
I ordered a Dobyns Champion Extreme HP 7foot Casting Rod (DX704C) last night to use for Texas Rigs, Swim Jigs, Ribbit/Hollow Body Frogs, and Buzzbaits and Spooks. It's my first Dobyns and I hope I made a good decision ordering it. Currently I have Kistler Heliums and one Megabass Destroyer FMJ that ...

re: Cigar baws, what are you lighting up today? - OGJangalang
Tatuaje Barclay Rex 100th from 2010 and it's Amazing! I have 7 left from a box and they just keep improving with age! I only smoke one or two of these a year because I know I'll be devastated when they are gone and finding another box will likely never happen....

re: Is the Toyota 4Runner now a chick car? - OGJangalang
I bought one new in 1993 and kept it for almost ten years. I put over 230,000 miles on it and it never saw the shop other than general maintenance and normal wear and tear parts, ( brakes etc.). One of, if not, the best vehicles I've ever owned. I wish I hadn't got rid of it....

re: Orgerons' new $900,000 home in Baton Rouge: Five bedrooms, lakeside, golf course view - OGJangalang
In the Pic that they used for the article, it shows Coach O and his wife listening as he is announced as LSU's new head coach. The look on his wife's face is priceless! You can clearly see that even she is shocked and can't believe that LSU would hire her husband as the head football coach!...

re: Ugly face with great body, or... - OGJangalang
She's not bad looking at all but she's a little to thick for my taste, although I believe if I chained her refrigerator shut, removed all the junk food from her house, and made her follow a healthy diet combined with a mandatory daily exercise program, within 6 months she'd make a pretty nice slam pi...

re: OT Docs - Question RE Recurring Nasal Staph Infections - OGJangalang
The fact that his current ENT hasn’t contacted an ID Specialist is troubling
Absolutely! This should have been done immediately once the Staph returned after a complete cycle of antibiotics. MRSA is nothing to play around with and must be treated aggressively by a Doctor who has ex...
