I had a daughter joke but you seem to be hit pretty hard about this. Can you get groceries or anything from a church to try and save money. If you have a mortgage try contacting mortgage company and tell them you were hit by the hurricane and if they could delay your next payment for a month or two. They are pretty good about helping out. The power company may have something as well. As others have stated try the unemployment route. Good Luck.

If your work is closed this week, I bet there is a lot of people that would pay someone to assist them in storm clean up or something construction related.

Disaster unemployment if your parish qualifies.

Go see the people at FEMA. Get in line, sit down, and explain the situation. They have a lot of programs and resources that most are not aware of. You never know.

If you think you are going to be out of work for a few weeks, maybe unemployment?

FEMA has been directing people to start an Only Fans. You can just do knees down if your modest or just keep your face covered.

Kind of hard since the business isn't open.

Go door to door asking to help gut houses or cleanup for $25 an hour. You can probably even make more than that. Unfortunately you may have to break a sweat.

Enter your city and state or ZIP code to see if your area has been declared for Individual Assistance.
My niece (sorry side of the family who lives on government assistance mostly) did this and got $500.00 within a week
give it a try

Might be time for a career change.
Three or four days of work beat what I make in half a month.
