re: Is it legal for local law enforcement
Posted by ClientNumber9 on 1/15/26 at 10:11 pm to Tigertittie
I'm a fed and my chain of command has told us repeatedly that if a local tries to arrest us in the commission of our duties, we are not to entertain them. We are told not to fight back but not to comply with their commands either. We have been instructed to continue our enforcement actions, ignore them and call our Special Agent in Charge directly.

re: Will we eventually see people opt out of the NFL entirely?

I've been arguing that this is coming. When the NCAA finally removes eligibility restrictions at 5 years, you'll see players play a 6-8 year career in college, make $40M and retire.

I've been saying this. And when it happens, and players are staying in college for 5-7 years while making more than their NFL counterparts, what happens then?

Why did you put the Supreme Court in quotations?

You don't need breakfast, America
Posted by ClientNumber9 on 1/11/26 at 8:25 am
If you're not actively working in manual labor, you don't need three hot meals a day. Americans still eat like they're working on a farm 14 hours a day and the phrase "breakfast is the most important meal of the day" was started by Kellogg and promoted by large cereal manufacturers.
I challenge you to sit next to a McDonald's drive-thru between 7-9 am. 90%+ of the drivers going through that line will be obese. Stop thinking you need to wake up and immediately start shoving food in your fat, gross faces. You don't.
I know people will respond, "8ut clientnumber9, I start my day with weights and a 7 mile run- I need some carbs and sugars first." I'm not talking to you. Unfortunately, that's a tiny sliver of this fat arse nation. I'm talking to low impulse control fatties on this board that grunt when they stand up.
You can have a banana or a cup of yogurt if you're absolutely insistent on having something light but you don't need a full meal. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

No they can't. ICE doesn’t have general police authority. Their powers come from federal immigration law. For a U.S. citizen, they can’t just detain you for “basic law breaking” unless they have a proper federal warrant or are enforcing a crime they’re actually authorized to enforce. Otherwise, they have no lawful basis to hold you.
Jesus Christ. You have no idea what you're talking about. Shut the frick up if you don't know something. ICE agents, as with all federal agents, can enforce Title 18, Title 31 and Title 19 federal laws in addition to their Title 8 immigration authority.
You don't think an ICE agent can enforce federal obstruction law?

So what if we did? Nothing wrong with that. A nation acts in its own self-interest. Oil is a big part of that.

What happens when college players consistently make more than their NFL counterparts?
Posted by ClientNumber9 on 1/5/26 at 9:57 am
We're already seeing B and B- quarterbacks making $5M a year in the college ranks. In another few seasons this will filter down to defensive lineman, left tackles and wide receivers. I can envision hundreds of players like Pavia suing the NCAA to stick around for 5-6 seasons, or maybe longer. Are we reaching a point where college athletes will be able to play their entire 8-10 year careers while pursuing phony degrees?
With unlimited transfers, no salary caps, no structured restrictions on player performance or tampering, It's much more advantageous to remain in college. And the only plank remaining is the arbitrary eligibility clause (which is also under attack now). We aren't there yet but as the NCAA continues to get dismantled, I could see players choosing college over NFL.
And at what point does this increased compensation threaten the NFL, forcing them to react?

Holy shite, this may be the stupidest, revisionist nonsense I've ever read in this board and that's saying something. Yes, Putin the Christian. The peaceful, minding his own business Christian who just want to sit back and not reconquer the former USSR.

Russia was at a crossroads in 1991. They could have embraced freedom and democracy. Instead, Putin installed a dictatorship. He trashed his constitution, absolved term limits to remain in power forever, imprisoned or murdered anyone who disagrees with him, and threw in his alliances with Iran, Venezuela, North Korea and China. I'm a conservative and it confuses the hell out of me to see a fringe of our party carrying the water for a murderous thug.

As much as you weirdo Russian lovers refuse to deny it, Putin has installed a dictatorial, corrupt oligarchy in his country and it's not compatible with NATO. He only wanted to join it to destroy it from the inside.

Stop being a fat frick. Full sugared soda is destroying this country. It has no nutritional value whatsoever and is probably the biggest reason poor and lower class people look the way they do nowadays.
