So in other words, the monthly wage is $2 a day. This means a yogurt and a soda costs an entire day's pay. Imagine what that would cost in the US, if you took 8 hours of your paycheck to purchase a yogurt and a soda. I'm guessing that would be somewhere around $200-400 for those two products. Meanwhile, we are bitching about gas costing an extra 75 cents a gallon.
