I'm not a snob, but if you have really good wine, you can really tell the difference when you go back to drinking shitty wine.

I buy Kirkland wine. It's just as good as the expensive stuff and 1/3 of the price.

Ever been to a bourbon / whiskey tasting?
You hear a lot of the same descriptions and people swirling their glad around. Although the big difference is we don't spit like they do in wine tasting.

There’s a thread from yesterday where I said essentially the same thing. They’ve done those blind taste tests and the wine snobs couldn’t tell the difference between a $15 bottle and a $500 bottle.
