Read his location, Klark and got it right the first time.
Sorry if you are sensitive about these matters......

re: What are the odds that LSU punt returner fields all the punts clean in the opener
Posted by nitwit on 4/16/24 at 12:39 pm
Zavion Thomas (M. St.) had a 12.3 yd punt return average last year and Greg Clayton had 12.5 yds per return for LSU.
Difference is Thomas returned half the punts he fielded, and Clayton returned 4 and fair caught 20. ...

Don't disagree, but punt returns are pretty far down my list of concerns. First, let's try to field a defense that can make the opposing offenses actually punt from time to time. Last year, an ace punt returner would have been wasted....
re: Jeff Landry: Here's what my position on LSU and the national anthem really means

I suspect most of those who made these sacrifices understand that they were fighting for our nation so her people could exercise their freedoms as guaranteed by the Constitution.
Those freedoms, bought at great price, include the freedom of speech.
Do you understand which side of these freedoms t...

Agree that Landry's initial comments on all this were dishonest, not just ill-informed. However, that is not a central point here because anyone who has followed Jeff Landry knows that he has never permitted his career to be burdened by an excessive commitment to honesty.
To me, the fascinating th...

Landry does not have the honesty. humility or brain cells to simply apologize for a truly stupid effort to earn cheap political points at the expense of the State's Flagship school. He does not believe he is capable of error. ...
re: Watched the spring game highlights

I don't disagree with the sentiment, but if we are going to be consistent and use history as a guide, we have to acknowledge that last year we were historically great on offense. I don';t think we can expect that again next year, when we lost three first round offensive playmakers. ...

re: Dexter Reed. The next George Floyd?
Posted by nitwit on 4/11/24 at 3:33 pm
Yes, it could change the assessment if Reed fired a bunch of times, because it would show he was still alive and dangerous, instead of, as someone said "hamburger meat" .
Another thing that could change the assessment is the range from which the officer discharged fifty rounds and the accuracy of...

If you are a LE Professional, the inquiry is certainly not over if you conclude Reed shot first.
You have officers who pumped 96 shorts into this guy and you are trying to assess the performance of your colleagues as to whether their use of force was necessary , reasonable and proportional. One co...

re: USC starting DT Bear Alexander expected to enter portal

This.
The question is not just whether you would like him on your roster, but what is the cost to have him there. He sounds VERY expensive and underperforms at that price. AND that is before you consider how his NIL might be disproportionate to others, and his locker room demeanor, etc. ...

So, do we try to onboard both Victorian and Trey Holley at the same time?
Anybody think that this has any sort of, well…ethical implications for LSU?
Or does that matter?...
