It’s like $40/yr, and usually they have some type of deal to make it close to $0 the first year. Just do it. The gas discount is worth it alone if you go there for gas. Product deals are pretty good. Scan and go app is elite for skipping shitty checkout lines

For us, Sam’s isn’t that useful for general grocery shopping since the overall selection of goods is limited, and almost everything comes in bulk quantities, which we simply don’t need.

But we do get a number of items like TP, garbage bags, bottled water, pet foods, etc. And they have a good selection of meats, so we tend to go to Sam’s about once a month and buy all our meats and the few other things we get from there.

The meat is great, so is the bakery, the $5 rotisserie chickens...., it's well worth it.

Yes the gas is cheaper but my issue is the amount of valuable time you have to waste to actually get that gas.

Lines are backed up constantly. If you have the time, great. If not, it's an issue at SAMS and Costco.

Yes, you make up the membership fees with the saving on gasoline.

I prefer Sam’s to Costco

Costco is always over crowded and takes forever to check out.

for some things, yeah... for others, not so much... i rather costco

I end up walking out with so much shite each time that I’m not sure I’m saving any money

Free shipping for $50 plus orders, but cold items cannot be delivered. Plus extra 20% eyewear or contacts. I am definitely getting my money back with this deal.
