According to Saban Kiffen has some deep pockets at Ole Miss that give him what he wants. Why would Kiffen want to leave? He’s go a good thing going and the team he produced this year proves it.

The HC salary use to be a guarantee after the coach received payment for private services like the coaches radio show, endorsements and that sort of things. That may have changed but in the old days that’s how it worked.

You heard correct. Woodward overlooked a lot of what Kelly was and was not doing. When the LSU board started sniffing around to see why the team did not seem to be running on all cylinders they got an eyeful of what Woodard was letting Kelly to get away with. Without a President and with Woodard allowing Kelly to get away with, Landry took the lead by default.
