Traveler, where did you get that photo? Thought I recognized it. When I zoomed in on the plaque I did realize I was correct. I was intimately familiar with that museum. It was a long time ago and it brought back some memories.

Cars of Yesteryear. This is Henry Shane's private collection. The museum is in Metairie and is open by invitation only. The collection of cars and memorabilia is top level. I spent a few hours there and it wasn't long enough.

That is interesting. There was a private museum on Airline hwy years ago with the same name. This is 40 years ago. That's back when they would do those car shows at Cortana mall. I was thinking it was the same one on airline. Apparently there's several cars of yesteryear museums. It's a much catchier name than really, really old cars museum. Anyway, brought back some memories for me.

I literally live down the street from Fisker (haven't noticed the sign out, recently), Rivian ( I think they recently vacated their headquarters here, though), both Hyundai and KIA design studios (numerous test mules on nearby roads with their prototype camouflage), a McLaren dealership (wake me up every Saturday morning at 5:30 hauling azz cuz they're going to the local car shows), Porshe, BMW, MB, Ineos, etc.

I'm numb to this stuff.

I'll walk right past a Million Dollar Supercar to check out a rat rod or Custom Restomod.

I saw a Rezvani the other day at a Tampa Chick-fil-a. I had to look it up and its crazy if this car does all that they claim.

Man there can’t be too many of those still around.

My FIL had one for about 10 years. Sold it about 10 years ago. Man he loved that car and it was a total POS.

In fairness, what do you think is a better looking CUV than the Purosangue?

I'm not sure I want to spend $600K on a car that looks like it came off the Mazda showroom floor.
