This image features the 1955 GMC L'Universelle concept truck.
It was a visionary prototype unveiled at the 1955 General Motors Motorama show.
The name "L'Universelle" is French and means "The Universal".
It featured front-wheel drive, which allowed for a low, flat cargo floor only 13 inches off the ground.
The concept was powered by a 287 ci Pontiac V-8 engine and had unique "folding gullwing" side doors.
It is considered an early precursor to the modern minivan design.

I have treated some “Lifers” from the lovely institution known as Angola. You could see the evil behind their eyes.

I ran across some old pictures of my dad’s '68 Big Block L71 in the early 70s. Notice the funky port hole window added to the hardtop. ?
He has his Halliburton company car pulling his ‘68 to the track.

re: How do your "friends" make sure their drugs aren't tainted with fentanyl?

.they say "we get it from the same chick we always have and she's got good stuff. We don't buy from randoms" I'd be terrified that some day she might get some bad stuff and it's over.
This provides little to no security.
I review autopsies for all "non-natural deaths" in major metro area that includes overdoses intentional/non-intentional.
We often have DEA agents to sit in, and I can tell you many times witnesses and cell phone records show frequent purchases from same supplier. We also had a case where two friends purchased 5 pills from their guy as they always do, both took one single pill....one OD'd the other did not.
Safest bet, don't do drugs.

There's things I might go cheap on with a vehicle, Chinese tires would not be on that list.

Maybe he plans to trade in this truck in the near future but needs a set of tires to get him by.
Considering he was very concerned with long tread life and noise level, you could assume he keeping it for a while.

I remember years ago when I got some Hankook Dynapros AT tires for my truck. I had never heard of them and they were the best set of tires I’ve had.
Yep , Hancook truck and SUV tires are actually made in Tennessee.
