Hey Grok, What is the percentage of black people in Quebec?
quote:

Black people make up approximately 5.1% of Quebec's total population, with over 422,000 residents. This demographic is heavily concentrated in urban centers, particularly the Greater Montreal area, where Black individuals comprise over 10% of the city's population

Spend enough time there, and you will see that Montreal is a corrupt, crime ridden mess of crumbling infrastructure with the worst healthcare in all of Canada, which is saying a lot. Check out Quebec City if you get a chance. Very different. Except for the healthcare.

Whereas in LA it’s always crime, poverty, failing infrastructure, and corruption. When and where did we make the wrong turn baws?

Do you really have to ask?

I’ll go along with it.

Well at this rate, are you saying the US is the next South Africa in terms of decline? Or is it still contained to Louisiana…for now? Louisiana does remind me of SA in a lot of ways.

Demographics, plus Quebec profits from massive financial subsidies from Ottawa to bribe them into not declaring independence.

Underrated comment. Most of the subsidy money is coming from Alberta and its natural resources. Alberta now has the signature count needed to put a referendum for independence from Ottawa and the rest of Canada on the ballot this year.

How did us baws turn out so badly? Compared to Lousiana, Quebec seems a lot more “cultured”, educated, and happy. shite just works and functions as a society.

They probably picked their own cotton.

Depends on political decisions and immigration policy so its probably best discussed on another board.

Why on earth would Alberta disassociate from the utopia of Canada?

crumbling infrastructure

Useless anecdote brought to you by the American Society of Civil Engineers, using media to get more bullshite projects funded since TV was invented. The same asshats that kept I-10 at 110 a single fricking lane for decades.

I’d say Louisiana leadership. Crooks, only interested in lining pockets, our taxes not used for stated purpose, 1/2 of our citizens are on welfare of some sort. Now we are headed towards becoming a toxic waste dump. This is a start.

I have an idea. Let’s all learn French and force anyone who wants to live here to speak French or miss out on job opportunities due to law. If you’re not smart enough to learn French, then by natural selection you must leave for Texas. Similar shite in Quebec—very hard to integrate without French.

Or we just all continue fleeing for Texas.

Have you had the Montreal smoked meat? It's really good. Head to Wilensky Deli and the go get a slice of Sugar Pie and stop thinking.
