The boats are running out of Sucre. Mostly fishermen who smuggle contraband to and from Trinidad. Been doing it for decades, especially since Chavez. I have no doubt they run drugs too. But Trinidad is the stopping off point before the drugs head to Europe. Seems like Trinidad needs some pressure to stop this. Pressure from Europe.

Amazing how that book holds up almost a hundred years later. Explains 100% our position on Venezuela. Nothing to do with drugs.
If it were, we should let Europeans deal with it. Most drugs leaving Venezuela are going to Europe via Trinidad.

I have a ‘12 Xterra. 190K Same 4.0 V6 and 5speed auto trans as Frontiers up to around 2020 or so. Compression is great on all cylinders, never a problem. Trans is tight too. I have a lot of good things to say about that power train. Frontier interiors are simple and dated, but the truck is sound. That’s what matters to me in a used vehicle on a budget.

Not a morning person? Stay up all night. Get to your spot extra early, and throw a cast net. That will give you a good supply of live bait. Plus, you will know what the fish are likely to be feeding on. And while you are there, fish. Night fishing can be very productive.
