How did us baws turn out so badly? Compared to Lousiana, Quebec seems a lot more “cultured”, educated, and happy. shite just works and functions as a society.
Whereas in LA it’s always crime, poverty, failing infrastructure, and corruption. When and where did we make the wrong turn baws?

We have to look in the mirror and ask ourselves; "Why did they kick us out in the first place?"

Demographics, plus Quebec profits from massive financial subsidies from Ottawa to bribe them into not declaring independence.

It’s pretty simple. Quebec has a ton of NURU massage parlors. Louisiana has none.

You really have to ask?

Montreal is 85% of one group and 11% of another.
Louisiana is 55% of one group and 30% of another.

Quebec functions like a highly educated, safe, and sophisticated European nation tucked inside Canada. On the other hand, Louisiana fights a daily, exhausting battle against poverty, crime, and crumbling infrastructure. Montreal grew, it industrialized early, turning into a powerhouse of banking, shipping, manufacturing, and eventually, aerospace and tech.
Louisiana didn’t turn out poorly because of a single bad decision; it was shaped by a series of profound historical, economic, and institutional divergences over 250 years.

They’re not even happy about being Canadians and having to speak English.

Food service in Montreal is on another level from Louisiana.
